Dear Lord we are
grateful to you for your love and mercy from the
cross and the Good News. We know that we are sinners
and guilty before you and unworthy of such a love
and redemption in Christ the Lord and Savior. Thank
you for the gift of the Holy Spirit, thank you for
your word, the Bible, the Bread of Life. Please
bless us all to feed on it everyday and every night.
Above all we thank you for Lord Jesus who died for
our sins that we may be saved and restored to you
forever. Please bless us more and use us for the
sake of world evangelism. Please give us wisdom to
have a tender heart and concern for the unsaved.
Please help us to sacrifice it all for the sake of
the lost so they may be saved too. Please bless this
message to go out with the power of the Holy Spirit,
and convict every ear that you are righteous, and
the coming judgment is near and we must repent and
make a decision for Christ today, right now. Please
bless Iranians and all others who do not know Christ
and the Gospel, so they may be saved too. Please
bless every reader of this message to become a Bible
reader. Please bless Iran with Christ more than ever
before, so they may all know Him and the redemptive
power of His blood and resurrection.
"Search the
Scripture, for in them you think you have eternal
life, and they are they which testify of me." John
5:39
Dear Reader, we
have been most blessed one more time to hear the
words of the Messiah, speaking to everyone of us in
the most personal way, the living Bread of Life1,
feeding us for the will of God, fresh manna from
Heaven, reviving us, and transforming us unto the
will of God2. What a blessing at this
time of our life to have God our creator to speak to
us! What a privilege to listen to our maker and to
have His nature, the very nature of God, the Holy
Spirit, the Comforter3, to reside in us
and give us companionship4 and convict
our hearts for The Way and The Truth and The Life5.
Dear Reader, Lord has been faithful, long
suffering, and not slack concerning His promise, and
is not willing that anyone should perish6.
Now He is giving us one more chance to know His
revelation7, and His plan of salvation
through the Messiah8. Please respond to
His plea and conviction and ask Him to forgive you
and save you9 today! For many of us, this
might be the last time that God is trying to have
fellowship with us and His word. This might be the
very last time that the Holy Spirit convicts our
hearts with His plea and Promise10, and
He is ready right now to pardon us11, and
adopt us unto His own, as His own child12,
and give you His own mind13.
Dear Reader, the
one who created us, God, the one who spoke us unto
being now wants to speak to our being! He is telling
us or commanding us to search the scriptures so we
may come into contact with Him and be blessed by His
wisdom and to have a personal relationship with Him
and to be born again by The Spirit of the Lord14.
Dear Reader,
there is nothing better we can do than be obedient
to His Word and His commands and instructions15.
Here the Lord is guiding us to His Living Bread of
Life, to His Word, to the scriptures. He also tells
us the reason we err is because we do not know the
scriptures16. Studying the scriptures
prayerfully will surely put us in touch with God and
He speaks to us through His Word and gives wisdom17.
Lord says only fools despise wisdom and instruction18.
For the Lord giveth wisdom and out the His mouth
cometh knowledge and understanding19.
Please note that at the time, our Lord spoke these words
Bibles were not available like they are today, and
certainly there are plenty of them printed every
year in America. There was only the Old Testament
hand written and many in fragments in some
synagogues and the high priest or rabbis could touch
it, kiss it or read it, or pass it to anyone he
selected. According to the will of God, the New
Testament was written later and gathered and added
to the Old Testament or the Torah. Now the Lord has
blessed us much more than the past generations for
He has made His Word, the Bible, available to us and
now we can reach it and pick it up and read it or
even listen to it through an electronic audio
device! "In the old times," the words of scripture
traveled around person to person, starting from the
synagogue. There was no printing press, no radio, no
television or telephone, or internet! However Christ
told them to read the scriptures and definitely He
was speaking to the Jewish leaders or the Rabbis who
were in possession of the Word of God in their
worshipping places, the synagogue. Evidently those
folks believed that they are the most favored by God
for being children of Abraham, and having received
the laws through Moses. Therefore, God is more
pleased with them and they also thought that they
are most obedient to the Law, till Christ met with
them and told them that they are full of dead man’s
bones, and all uncleanliness, and full of hypocrisy
and iniquity20. It appears that theses
folks were selective when it came God’s Word. They
hid parts of the scriptures and did not tell their
congregation about it21. They only opened
up the parts that were most favorable to themselves
and their sacred positions and incomes and benefits.
And how often this happens that Lord trusts someone
with many talents, but the servant puts His own
needs above the Lord’s or hides the truth and
becomes dishonest and unprofitable to his master22.
The trusted servant goes on with things that do not
matter and hides the talents which is the Gospel and
will not use it for the benefit of God and His
kingdom. What a horrible thing to do?! To keep the
Truth hidden, to keep "The Light of the World"23
hidden in this present darkness is a sinful thought
and deed which God hates.
They hid the
Heaven, Grace, Salvation, Eternal Life, the very God
Himself, and preached and encouraged works and
deeds. They hid the Savior at the Calvary and took
the perishing and the dying to a mountain of laws,
the Mount Sinai, and there they told them about
doing things to go to Heaven while they knew about
God’s teaching about man’s work24.
Dear Reader think
about it that how wicked man is and how deceitful
his heart is, even God warns us about it25.
Dear friend, God is not pleased with man! Man’s
works and sacrifices are abomination and insults to
God26. That is why Lord Himself, the
Creator, came down on this earth and lived with us
and tells us to study the scripture and He is "The
Life"5, which we are looking for, and He
is God27. Later on in the New Testament
God points us out to His Word, His Revelation, the
person of Christ as the ultimate sacrifice for our
sins, that if we come to believe and repent we are
saved from the coming judgment and wrath28.
Dear Reader, to
learn more about this fact we must be obedient to the
commandment of the Lord and go read the scriptures,
the foundation of living water. Through reading of
the scriptures God will talk to us and we will come
to have faith in His Word and we will come to
believe29 for sure that God does not lie
and all His precepts are true and righteous and give
life30. That life is the word of the
Messiah31, the Living Christ. We will
come to believe that God came in the flesh and did
not commit sin32, and the Jewish
religious men, with the help of unbelievers took
Him, and beat Him and tortured Him and crucified Him
at a place called Calvary33. There the
innocent blood was shed for our sins, our dead works34.
There at the Calvary the innocent Christ, the Savior35,
the Holy One, the Hope of Israel36, our
Passover Lamb37 was crucified for us
sinners38. His love and mercy is so great
that even though we were not physically born yet, He
thought about every one of us and He gave His life
there at the cross as the ultimate sacrifice for our
sins. When we come to believe in His deity and
works, we will be saved from the coming wrath of
God. As the result of our faith in Him we also
receive the new life, the nature of God, the Holy
Spirit, forever.
While here at the
Calvary, let’s look at Christ our Savior on the
cross. Look at Him, who died for our sins. Isn’t He
lovely? Did any man ever love us as much as He did?
Did any man forgive as much as he did ? Did any man
ever care for us as much as He did? Indeed He is the
Incomparable Christ! There on the cross while His
hands and His feet pierced and His side tore up,
bleeding and hurting and dying with His last breaths
He prayed for us, asking God to forgive us39.
Now look at Him
there on the cross, dying for your sins, yes for
you. Instead of you and I wretched sinners, He is on
the cross dying and with His last breath He said "it
is finished"40 and died.
Yes, indeed He
died for out sins and fulfilled the prophecies of
God in the scriptures. He is the fulfillment of the
scriptures. In fact, He is the scriptures, the Word
of God41. The word of God says that every
mouth may be stopped and the entire world may become
guilty before God42. For all have sinned
and come short of the glory of God43.
So we are all
guilty before God because we are sinners and it is
in our blood, ingrained in us, it is our fallen
nature which we inherited from our parents Adam and
Eve! But God says that Christ is the propitiation
for our sin44, and if we believe, He is
our Saviour45. Now Christ’s earthly works
in the flesh ended by his death on the cross. But He
rose on the third day and many who saw Him believed
on Him46 and it is all in the scriptures.
That is why God’s word says read the scriptures so
we may know Him and His plan of salvation for us
sinners
Dear Reader,
since 2000 years ago millions of wretched sinners
have come to believe on Him, and repented of
themselves and called on Lord Jesus to save them,
and the Lord Jesus always does that47.
Now do you
believe on Him as your Savior and Lord? Do you
believe that you are a sinner too, and even your
good works will not save you? Do you believe that
God is only pleased with you when you ask Him to
come and live in you forever? Do you know that God’s
word says that Christ in us "is the Hope of Glory?48"
That means that there is not glory in anything or
anywhere or anybody but Christ, living in us,
meaning the same way He was resurrected and
glorified, we will be too, because if we are
Christian then He lives in us!
Now don’t you
like for God to forgive all your sins and reconcile
you back to Himself and to save you and give you
eternal life? If answers to all these questions are
"yes," then praise the Lord for He has revealed
Himself to you and His Spirit has convicted your
heart of all things49.
Now why don’t you
ask Him, right now to save you? And say this simple
prayer. Go on, just talk to Him. Right now is the
very moment!
Dear Lord, now I
know that I am a sinner and you are my Savior. I
repent of my sins and ask you Lord Jesus to come
into my heart and live with me forever. Please help
me to live the way you want me to live, a holy life!
I ask in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ.
Dear friend, if
you have said this prayer with faith in Christ and
his deity, now you are a Christian or a new creation50,
a child of God51. Now you have just been
born into the kingdom of heaven52.
Now your concerns
and interests are of the father’s and not this
earth. To know things better we must be obedient to
the command of the Lord, " Search the scriptures ".
So read the Bible every day, talk to the Lord in
prayers, attend a church where the Bible is taught,
and the Gospel is preached and an invitation to
Christ is given. Attend Sunday school. Give to the
Church with your time and treasures and talents.
Tell everyone about your faith in Christ and your
new life in Him. Congratulations for becoming a
member of the international and the heavenly family
of God. Thank you Lord Jesus, Amen.
